William Fitzsimmons and Denison Witmer at the Troubadour, March 9, 2012

Last Friday, William Fitzsimmons and Denison Witmer performed their wonderful music to a sold out crowd at The Troubadour. Witmer’s set was also a mix of old and new including a personal favorite of mine, California Brown and Blue. Fitzsimmons, who admitted he had a bit too much to drink before his set, candidly shared stories from his life that inspired some of the songs he played which included a couple of new songs along with some old time favorites that really got the crowd singing along. We’ve got a video below of his performance of You Still Hurt Me. Overall, a memorable show for both the couples who were pretty much inseparable by the time the show was over and for the few people who went solo and thought of the people they would love to sing ‘We were lovers and now we’re not even friends’ to. Sigh.

Some of my favorite things are beef jerky, bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, pistachios (aka the nut of the gods), my husband's face, and coffee.
