(213) 744-1505[/one_fourth][three_fourth_last]Here’s a neat little place we recently discovered near The Orpheum Theater and The Mayan, two major concert venues in Downtown LA. New Mikado’s menu is a mix of Japanese and Korean food with delicious sushi rolls, rice bowls, and bibimbap. It is hosted by a friendly Korean man who will gladly help you decide what to get should the long list of sushi confuse you. Every guest that left before us looked happy and one guy even told the host, “It’s my first time here, but I’ll make sure to come more often.” Swing by not just for the food, but for the warm experience as well. It’s perfect for nights out when you have a few hours to burn before a show.[/three_fourth_last]

Some of my favorite things are beef jerky, bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, pistachios (aka the nut of the gods), my husband's face, and coffee.
