Agusan Marsh Diaries, a documentary by Jerrold Tarog

Here is a 47-minute travelogue about one of the most breathtaking places in the Philippines (that you might not have heard of). Directed, scored, edited and mixed by award-winning filmmaker, Jerrold Tarog. Cinematography by Mackie Galvez. Hosted by Gaby dela Merced and Dr. Jurgenne Primavera.
[one_third][/one_third][two_third_last]Here’s a note from the director:

Like what Gaby said in the film, no matter how much she talks about it, there’s really nothing like being there. Nothing can compare to having the experience within you and I suppose the film is like an invitation to experience what our country has without exploiting the place. The natives kept mentioning respect and I guess that’s the most important thing. Respect. Humility. We were humbled by the place.[/two_third_last]

Some of my favorite things are beef jerky, bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, pistachios (aka the nut of the gods), my husband's face, and coffee.
