Live Review: The Pains of Being Pure at Heart at the Troubadour 5/7/14

Brooklyn’s indie band The Pains of Being Pure at Heart played to a packed Troubadour last Wednesday night in support of their latest release Days of Abandon. The Hochheim brothers opened as well as Ablebody while supporting band Fear Of Men‘s vocalist, Jessica Weiss provided female vocals for the night.

The addition of a new voice (Jen Goma of A Sunny Day in Glasgow) added a playful back and forth between her and frontman Kip Berman, much to everyone’s delight. The night was a crazy blur with the crowd dancing and jumping. And TPOBPAH answered back and delivered with non-stop dreamy indie pop songs after another and absolutely no one was complaining.
