Pitchfork 2015: Playlist

There are many things we love about Pitchfork Fest. First of all, it’s in Chicago, a city we don’t mind visiting all the time, at the perfect time of the year. It’s so easy to get to and from the park because of its location in the city and the abundance of public transportation options. (Something I envy coming from West LA where no trains go.)

Then there’s the festival’s size – perfectly mid-size where it doesn’t get claustrophobic and the festival experience is still enjoyable. It’s still actually possible to have fun with your friends as you don’t have to worry about waiting at 6AM to save yourself a spot once the gate opens at 12PM. The shiny cherry on top of course is its consistently great lineup that just gets better every year. Did I mention it’s also only $150 for three days? Yep.

The fest is just three months away now so I prepared a little playlist featuring the artists set to perform on July 17, 18, and 19 at Chicago’s Union Park. Single day passes are still available for $65 each. Did we miss your favorite track? Let us know on Twitter.

Some of my favorite things are beef jerky, bacon, Benedict Cumberbatch, pistachios (aka the nut of the gods), my husband's face, and coffee.
