Canadian folk rock band Great Lake Swimmers is one of those bands you discover once and then keep listening to for years to come. Their music is hard to get out of your system. I remember Ongiara released in 2007 and the many nights I listened to the beautiful track “Your Rocky Spine,” and the calming “There Is A Light”. With “Zero In The City,” the band remains true to their roots.
They have just released A Forest Of Arms, their sixth studio album on April 21 via Nettwerk. This Friday, they will be at the Troubadour for a special performance and you can get your tickets online now.
